01 / WALLS & CEILINGS
Skim finishes for existing walls, ceilings and new plasterboard. Small patches and repairs can be quoted separately.
02 / THE BACKGROUND
Backing coats and floating for internal walls that need preparation before skimming.
This is internal plastering. We do not offer external rendering, blockwork or structural building work as part of the traditional plastering service.
03 / A NEW SURFACE
Dot-and-dab plasterboarding or screw-fixing to existing studwork, priced per wall rather than per room.

04 / LOOK UP
New plasterboard over a suitable existing ceiling, followed by skimming. Prices use the room’s floor footprint. We assess the ceiling before recommending overboarding.
05 / THE BUILD-UP
Insulated plasterboard is priced per wall. If only two walls need insulation, your quote includes those two walls—not the whole room.
Taking walls back to brick is a separate scope. Tell us if you already have an insulation specification; we’ll confirm the installation work and finish included in the quotation.
06 / PREPARE TO BEGIN
Backing-plaster removal is priced per wall. Coving and ceiling removal use the room’s floor footprint. Plasterboard removal is agreed in your quote. Waste removal is not included unless separately agreed.
For Board · Plaster · Paint, Wallworks Platinum is our separate limited-company offering for full-house renovations, new-build plots and extensions. Painting is not part of the traditional plastering service.

Room, ceiling or individual wall size, surface condition and preparation affect the quote. Drylining is priced per wall. Our labour-only guide prices help you plan; your written quotation confirms the final scope and price. Our minimum callout charge is £180 for all work. Materials and waste removal are excluded unless stated otherwise.
We offer ceiling skimming, overboarding and removal. The right approach depends on the existing ceiling and its background, which we assess before quoting.
The traditional service is internal plastering, plasterboarding, ceiling work and agreed removals. External rendering, carpentry and blockwork are not offered. Painting is available within the separate Platinum complete interior-finishing package, not as part of traditional plastering.
Fresh plaster needs to dry before decoration. Drying varies with the work and site conditions, so we’ll discuss the next stage for your project rather than promise a fixed drying time.
